Lieutenant Icehammer in the Howling Fjord wants you to place the Alliance Banner in Baleheim and then defend the banner against attackers.
Return to Lieutenant Icehammer with the Alliance Banner should you survive.

Walkthrough
Baleheim is directly NORTH of Lieutenant Icehammer’s location. Head to the center of the village and locate the firepit at approximately [64, 40] or [64.8, 39.9].
Use the Alliance Banner from your inventory to plant it at the firepit. Once planted, three vrykul defenders will spawn and attack ONE AT A TIME:
After defeating all three defenders, the quest completes automatically. Return to Lieutenant Icehammer to turn in and receive the follow-up.

Lore Context: Baleheim and the Winterskorn Clan
Baleheim is a vrykul town located just east of Utgarde Keep and north of Nifflevar. Unlike Wyrmskull Village and Nifflevar which belong to the Dragonflayer clan, Baleheim is controlled by the Winterskorn clan.
The Winterskorn chieftain Bjorn Halgurdsson resides in Baleheim. Like all vrykul clans in the region, the Winterskorn answer to King Ymiron.
Horde Parallel: The Forsaken at Vengeance Landing also target Baleheim through quests like Baleheim Bodycount, eventually setting fire to the village and assassinating Chieftain Bjorn. The Alliance and Horde operations against Baleheim represent a rare case of both factions independently targeting the same vrykul settlement.

“I’m not about to put the fate of this mission into the hands of some untested scrub.” Icehammer shoved a battle standard into my arms. “You want to prove you’ve got what it takes? Take this to Baleheim, north of here. Find the center of town and drop our flag. Fight off any vrykul dirt bags that attempt to take it down. Return to me once you’ve established Alliance dominance.”
Untested. Right.
Baleheim was a sprawl of vrykul longhouses and forge-smoke. I planted the banner in their town square and waited.
They came fast. The first one bellowing something in their guttural tongue, axe already swinging. I put him down before the second arrived. Then the third. Then more.
The banner snapped in the wind above me. Blue and gold, an insult they couldn’t ignore. Every vrykul in eyeshot wanted it torn down and wanted me torn down with it.
They didn’t get what they wanted.
When the last one stopped moving, I pulled the standard from the frozen ground and walked back to Icehammer.
“Still alive, I see. You’re a strong one. Strong enough to crack some vrykul skull at Nifflevar.”
There was a vrykul at Nifflevar who understood those harpoons better than anyone alive, and taking their weapons meant taking Harpoon Master Yavus off the board first.
