Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1st, 2026
GamerTribute (gamertribute.com) is a personal archive run by Vikas D. Reddy. This page explains what information the site collects when you visit and what happens to it. The site has no accounts, doesn’t sell your information, and collects very little.
What the site collects
You can read every page on GamerTribute without giving your name or email. Like most websites, the servers that deliver the site record basic technical information with each visit: your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure.
If you email us, we keep your message and address so we can reply. We don’t add you to any list.
Cookies
GamerTribute doesn’t use cookies to track you across other sites. Cloudflare, which protects and speeds up the site, may set a small cookie to tell real visitors from bots. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see which pages are read and how visitors find the site. It records things like pages viewed, approximate location, and device type, and uses cookies to do this. Google’s privacy policy explains how it handles that data.
Site search
Searches typed into the site’s search box may be logged so we can see what people look for and improve the archive. These logs aren’t used to identify you.
Services that help run the site
The site is hosted by Hostinger, delivered through Cloudflare, and backed up by VaultPress. Each of these services handles technical data only as needed to do its job.
Support and outside links
If you support the site through Ko-fi, the payment happens on Ko-fi and is handled by Ko-fi and its payment processors under their own privacy policies. We see only what Ko-fi shows creators, such as your name and any message you choose to leave.
The site links to other sites, including Wowhead, Warcraft Wiki, X, and Instagram. Once you follow a link, that site’s privacy policy applies. Embedded videos load from YouTube, which may set its own cookies when you play them.
Advertising
The site doesn’t currently show ads. If that changes, this page will be updated before any ads appear.
Players named in the archive
The WotLK Player Chronicles and quest pages show the character names and guilds of players who were on US-Terokkar in 2008 and 2009. If you’re one of them and want your character renamed, anonymized, or removed, email [email protected]. It will be done the same day, no questions asked.
Children
GamerTribute isn’t directed at children under 13 and doesn’t knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we’ll delete it.
Your choices
You can ask what information we have about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We’ll respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
