Kill 8 Scarlet Ivy in the Vibrant Glade.

Lurielle at the Frozen Glade [61, 22]. Head southwest to the Vibrant Glade at [51, 27]. The Scarlet Ivy are level 69 aggressive vine creatures, not clickable plants. Straightforward melee mobs. Do this simultaneously with The Fallen Sisters, which sends you to the exact same location. While killing ivy, weaken the Chill Nymphs to 30% HP and use Lurielle's Pendant to save them. One trip, two quests.

Vikstone's Classic Expedition

The nymphs had once tended these ivy beds and traces of their care were still visible in the curve of the garden rows. Now the vines lashed at anything that approached, and the corruption had turned their beloved plants into weapons against them.

“The sisters who lived in the Vibrant Glade, to the southwest, used to tend to gorgeous beds of scarlet ivy, but the same force that has driven them mad has transformed their beloved ivy. The vines now grasp at the feet of the unwary, or lash at any who approach the glade. Before we can reclaim the glade, the vines must be tamed and uprooted.

Clear as much of the ivy as you are able. It has already begun to grow out of control.”

Travel to The Vibrant Glade:
Head west from The Frozen Glade to The Vibrant Glade at 51.0, 29.0.
You’ll find Scarlet Ivy scattered around the area, glowing slightly for visibility.
Collect Scarlet Ivy:
Click on the Scarlet Ivy plants to gather the quest items.
Be cautious of Chill Nymphs, who are hostile and patrol the area. — *Lurielle at the Frozen Glade [61, 22]. Head southwest to the Vibrant Glade at [51, 27].*

Quest Giver: Lurielle — Frozen Glade, Howling Fjord [61, 22]

Objective: Kill 8 Scarlet Ivy in the Vibrant Glade.

Walkthrough

Travel southwest from the Frozen Glade to the Vibrant Glade at [51, 27]. The Scarlet Ivy are level 69 hostile mobs scattered throughout the glade; they’re aggressive vine creatures that lash out at anyone who approaches, not clickable plants.
Kill 8 of them. They’re straightforward melee mobs, nothing tricky.
Do this simultaneously with The Fallen Sisters — both quests send you to the exact same location. While killing ivy, weaken the Chill Nymphs in the area to 30% HP and use Lurielle’s Pendant to save them (7 required). One trip, two quests.
Return to Lurielle at the Frozen Glade to turn in both quests.

Efficiency Tips

AoE classes can round up both Scarlet Ivy and Chill Nymphs together and burn them down simultaneously for a faster clear. Just remember to use Lurielle’s Pendant on the nymphs before they die. The pendant only works at or below 30% HP.
After turning in both Wild Vines and The Fallen Sisters, Lurielle offers the next pair: Spawn of the Twisted Glade and Seeds of the Blacksouled Keepers. These send you to the Twisted Glade at [53, 17]. Again, pick up both and complete them together.

Lore Context

The three glades tell a story of progressive corruption. The Frozen Glade [61, 22] is untouched, Lurielle’s safe haven. The Vibrant Glade [51, 27] is partially corrupted, the nymphs’ beloved ivy has gone wild, and the sisters who tended them have been driven mad, but can still be saved with the pendant. The Twisted Glade [53, 17] is fully corrupted, home to Keeper Witherleaf, a fallen Keeper of the Grove.
Lurielle’s quest text carries genuine grief: “The sisters who lived in the Vibrant Glade used to tend to gorgeous beds of scarlet ivy, but the same force that has driven them mad has transformed their beloved ivy.” The ivy the nymphs once lovingly cultivated has become a weapon against them.
On turn-in, Lurielle holds hope: “The Vibrant Glade was once a beautiful place, and when we return to it, we shall make it so again.”

Lurielle’s grief deepened with each new revelation.

“The vines now grasp at the feet of the unwary, or lash at any who approach the glade. Before we can reclaim the glade, the vines must be tamed and uprooted.”

She gave me her pendant for a separate task, but her attention stayed on the southwest.

“Clear as much of the ivy as you are able. It has already begun to grow out of control.”

In the Vibrant Glade, I could see traces of what it had been: the curve of carefully tended beds, the artistry in how the plants had been arranged. Someone had loved this place.

Now the scarlet ivy writhed and the vines snapped at my ankles as I approached, thorned tendrils whipping toward my face. They moved with predatory awareness, coiling and striking.

Eight tangles of corrupted growth. My spiked mace was not the best tool for this work, but it served. Each impact sent sap spraying, thick and dark with whatever taint had taken hold.

When the last vine fell still, the glade felt lighter.

Lurielle received my report. “Thank you. The Vibrant Glade was once a beautiful place, and when we return to it, we shall make it so again.”

Gardens can be replanted. Sisters take longer to heal.

Lurielle’s pendant would bring The Fallen Sisters back if anyone reached them in time.
