Vikstone's War JournalTaruk was a tuskarr with an unexpected side business.

“I heard you did a little work for Terry. I was hoping someone reliable would show up around these parts.”
He gestured at the camp.
“See, pirates love to gamble. They, however, do not love to pay their gambling debt. If you’re interested in collecting some coin on my behalf, I’d be willing to give you a cut.”
A tuskarr loan shark among pirates?
“Let’s start you out with an easy one. ‘Silvermoon’ Harry’s a bit of an eccentric, keeps all sorts of expensive blood elf knickknacks inside his tent, yet when I see him he always pretends to be broke. Get my gold.”
Harry. The man who had sold me a knife, reunited tearfully with an orca-swallowed scrying crystal, and warned me about cursed artifacts while surrounded by sin’dorei silks.
I found him in his tent, polishing something delicate.
“Taruk sent me to collect what you owe.”
Harry drew himself up with wounded dignity.
“How dare you! I am trained in the way of the Blood Knights!” Fire bloomed from his hands.
He was not, in fact, trained in the way of the Blood Knights. The fight was brief. The payment was extracted. Harry sat among his precious collection, nursing singed dignity and a lighter coin purse.
Taruk counted the gold with satisfaction.
“A job well done. There’s more where this came from. There’s no shortage of deadbeat pirates on this island.”
Taruk had another name on his list, and this one drank, which calls for a different sort of patience since Jack Likes His Drink.
