Walkthrough

Scout Captain Carter is located down the winding trail that leads west and downhill from Amberpine Lodge. She can be tricky to find if you don’t know the path. From the lodge, head southwest toward the river.

After picking up the quest, cross the river southwest to the Blackriver Logging Camp. Kill 10 Conquest Hold Raiders or enemy players. The Raiders are the primary NPC targets here and are easy to find throughout the camp. Return to Scout Captain Carter to turn in.

Efficiency Tips

• This is one of the quickest PvP dailies in Grizzly Hills. The quest giver is close to the camp, and there are plenty of Raiders to kill without competition issues.
• Pair this with Kick ‘Em While They’re Down, Life or Death, and Pieces Parts from the Blue Sky Logging Grounds area, which all take place in the same general region between Amberpine Lodge and Venture Bay. Doing all four in one loop is efficient.
• The quest area is separate from Venture Bay’s dailies. Plan your daily route to hit Blackriver first (since it’s closer to Amberpine Lodge), then continue south to Venture Bay for the remaining dailies.

Lore Context

The quest text explains that the Venture Company is pulling out of Grizzly Hills because things got too dangerous. Their abandoned logging camps are now contested between Alliance and Horde forces.

Blackriver is described as the smallest of three logging sites in the zone, alongside Blue Sky Logging Grounds and Venture Bay.
