“With all of the troubles, I’ve lost my assistants. I was wondering if maybe you could help me? I have many crab traps under the waves of the harbor. Will you retrieve them for me? I’m too old for that sort of thing and the waters can be very dangerous. Please, take this bladder. It will help you to breathe while you’re down there.”

Objective: Collect 8 Tua’kea Crab Traps from the seabed south of Moa’ki Harbor and return them to Tua’kea.
Quick Facts
Walkthrough
Dive into the water south of Moa’ki Harbor. The crab traps are scattered across the seabed in the harbor area. Known trap locations: [47, 79], [47, 78], [46, 80], [47, 81], [48, 81], [49, 82], [49, 80]. They can extend as far east as the Wyrmrest Temple wall.
Finding the traps: Look for Bottom Threshers (sharks) and crabs. The traps are almost always near them. The crabs’ yellow nameplates make good visual markers for spotting nearby traps. The traps themselves can blend into the seabed, so use mob positions to guide your search.
Breathing: Tua’kea provides Tua’kea’s Breathing Bladder, which grants extended underwater breathing. You don’t have to use it, and it can be discarded after the quest. Warlocks, Druids, and Undead (who have extended breath) likely won’t need it.
Important: Pick up Signs of Big Watery Trouble while collecting traps. Look for a Wrecked Crab Trap on the seabed, which starts this quest. It leads to The Bait → Meat on the Hook, a short chain about Tua’kea’s “old nemesis” returning to the waters.
Explore Dragonblight’s hidden easter eggs, lore mysteries, and connections across Warcraft history in Vikstone’s Dragonblight Chronicles, along with the complete quest storyline.
Vikstone's War Journal“With all of the troubles, I’ve lost my assistants.”

The tuskarr have a gift for understatement.
“I was wondering if maybe you could help me? I have many crab traps under the waves of the harbor. Will you retrieve them for me?” He handed me a strange bladder. “I’m too old for that sort of thing and the waters can be very dangerous. Please, take this. It will help you to breathe while you’re down there.”
The bladder worked as promised, filling my lungs with stale but breathable air as I swam into Moa’ki Harbor’s waters.
The traps dotted the seafloor, wicker cages half-buried in silt. I gathered them methodically, ignoring the shadows that drifted at the edge of vision. Shadows with teeth, the dangerous waters Tua’kea had mentioned.
Whatever lurked down here was watching. But watching wasn’t attacking, so I kept working.
“I’m a simple trapper,” Tua’kea said, when I surfaced and returned with the traps. “The world has turned upside-down all of a sudden. It doesn’t make sense.” He looked out at the harbor, at the refugees preparing to flee, at everything falling apart.
“I hope that you’ll be able to set it right again.”
One trap on the seabed lay torn apart by something a great deal larger than anything it was built for, and Tua’kea’s old nemesis was back in the harbor, which is what comes of Signs of Big Watery Trouble.
