“The watery goddess, Oacha’noa, must be consulted; only she will know what the destiny of the Kalu’ak is to be. And only The Pearl of the Depths can call her forth from the murky nether. Off the coast to the southwest rises The Briny Pinnacle. Atop it sits the altar upon which the pearl rests. Commune at the altar and Oacha’noa is certain to hear your call.
Do as she says lest you incur her wrath and bring ruin upon all of the tuskarr. Should you survive, return to the mystic.”

Oacha’noa’s Full Dialogue
Oacha’noa yells: “Little [name], why do you call me forth? Are you working with the trolls of this land? Have you come to kill me and take my power as your own?”
Oacha’noa yells: “I sense uncertainty in you, and I do not trust it whether you are with them, or not. If you wish my augury for the Kalu’ak, you will have to prove yourself first.”
Oacha’noa yells: “I will lay a mild compulsion upon you. Jump into the depths before me so that you put yourself into my element and thereby display your submission.”
(If you wait too long:) Oacha’noa yells: “Though you are compelled, the choice, and the last step before you leap, are yours. You have twenty more seconds to decide.”
(After jumping:) Oacha’noa yells: “Well done, [name]. Your display of respect is duly noted. Now, I have information for you that you must convey to the Kalu’ak.”
Oacha’noa whispers: “Simply put, you must tell the tuskarr that they cannot run. If they do so, their spirits will be destroyed by the evil rising within Northrend.”
Oacha’noa whispers: “Tell the mystic that his people are to stand and fight alongside the Horde and Alliance against the forces of Malygos and the Lich King.”
Lore Context: Oacha’noa and the Drakkari Connection
Oacha’noa is a sea-goddess revered by the tuskarr, appearing as a colossal aquatic creature. Her suspicion toward the player is not paranoia. In Zul’Drak, the Drakkari ice trolls are actively sacrificing their own loa (gods) to steal their power in a desperate bid to survive the Scourge invasion. Oacha’noa may share similarities with troll loa, which would make her a potential target for the Drakkari. Her fear that you’ve been sent to kill her directly foreshadows the Zul’Drak storyline that you won’t encounter until several levels later.
Her prophecy is that the tuskarr must not flee Northrend. They must stand and fight alongside the player factions against both Malygos (the Nexus War) and the Lich King.
Toalu’u’s completion text reinforces the Nexus War connection established throughout this chain: “My people believe that all souls are one with the magic of the world. We must oppose the blue dragon attempts to control the magic or we are all doomed!”

Vikstone's War Journal“The watery goddess, Oacha’noa, must be consulted. Only she will know what the destiny of the Kalu’ak is to be.”

Elder Mana’loa spoke his final instruction. “And only The Pearl of the Depths can call her forth from the murky nether. Off the coast to the southwest rises The Briny Pinnacle. Atop it sits the altar upon which the pearl rests. Commune at the altar and Oacha’noa is certain to hear your call.”
A pause. Then: “Do as she says lest you incur her wrath and bring ruin upon all of the tuskarr. Should you survive, return to the mystic.”
Should you survive.
The Briny Pinnacle jutted from the sea as a broken tooth of stone with waves crashing against its base. I climbed to the altar where the Pearl of the Depths sat glowing with cold blue light. When I touched it, the world shifted.
She surfaced. Kraken-vast, ancient beyond reckoning. When she turned her gaze on me, I understood why the tuskarr called her a goddess.
“Little night elf, why do you call me forth? Are you working with the trolls of this land? Have you come to kill me and take my power as your own?”
“I come on behalf of the Kalu’ak,” I said. “They need your guidance.”
“I sense uncertainty in you, and I do not trust it whether you are with them, or not.” Those terrible eyes narrowed. “If you wish my augury for the Kalu’ak, you will have to prove yourself first. I will lay a mild compulsion upon you. Jump into the depths before me so that you put yourself into my element and thereby display your submission.”
The compulsion settled over me but her next words were what mattered.
“Though you are compelled, the choice, and the last step before you leap, are yours. You have twenty seconds to decide.”
Elune teaches us that submission to something greater is not weakness.
So I jumped.
The cold took my breath and the darkness swallowed me and then her voice found me in the deep, gentler now, intimate as a secret.
“Well done. Your display of respect is duly noted. Now, I have information for you that you must convey to the Kalu’ak. Simply put, you must tell the tuskarr that they cannot run. If they do so, their spirits will be destroyed by the evil rising within Northrend. Tell the mystic that his people are to stand and fight alongside the Horde and Alliance against the forces of Malygos and the Lich King. Now swim back with the knowledge I have granted you. Do what you can for them.”
When I finally broke through, gasping, the goddess was gone. Only the Pearl remained, still glowing on its altar.
“You spoke with Oacha’noa?!” Toalu’u said, staring at me when I returned. “If it is her will that we stand with your people then so be it. Elder Ko’nani will accept this as our destiny, for weal or woe.”
He steadied himself. “My people believe that all souls are one with the magic of the world. We must oppose the blue dragon attempts to control the magic or we are all doomed.”
A long breath. Then, quietly: “I never thought that a night elf would be the champion of the Kalu’ak. But you have proven me wrong.”
I’d only jumped when a goddess told me to.
The tuskarr’s course was set, which is to stand and fight, though Moa’ki still had ordinary troubles, since Tua’kea’s Crab Traps were tangled in something out in the harbor that was not crabs.
