What This Quest Sets Up
Story Context
Har’koa’s quest text confirms the Prophet of Akali has been dealt with (during Convocation at Zol’Heb), but “the greater part of Akali’s blood has empowered another, and it is in him that the true danger lies.” That “him” is Gal’darah, High Prophet of Akali and final boss of Gundrak. The stolen rhino god powers fuel his shapeshifting abilities during the dungeon encounter.
Lore Note: Dubra’Jin
Dubra’Jin is a small Zandalari outpost named after one of Zul’Drak’s “forgotten gods.” The statue of Dubra’Jin the god protects the handful of Zandalari trolls stationed here in exchange for raptor egg offerings. Like Zim’Rhuk, Dubra’Jin is never called a loa despite being worshipped by trolls, and unlike the other forgotten gods, he never directly interacts with adventurers at all.

Vikstone's War Journal“The Prophet is dead,” Har’koa said, “but the greater part of Akali’s blood has empowered another. The true danger lies within Gundrak itself.”

Gal’darah, the high prophet who’d orchestrated the god-killings from the start. He held most of Akali’s stolen power, and he waited inside the Drakkari capital.
Tol’mar met me at Dubra’Jin, north of the dungeon entrance. “Lissen up, mon. Dere be dangerous work ta be done!”
Champion of Zul’Drak. The title felt hollow knowing the job wasn’t finished.
Gundrak awaited.
The title “champion” meant nothing while Gal’darah still held Akali’s stolen power inside his temple. The Drakkari high prophet waited at the end of Gundrak, and a rhino god’s blood ran through his veins in Gal’darah Must Pay.
