Now they’re raising our men from the dead and using them against us! This will not be allowed to continue. You will see to it that their necromagi are slaughtered! Do we understand each other?”

Walkthrough
Head southeast from the Drak’Sotra camp to the crashed necropolis Kolramas, around [56, 81]. The Hath’ar Necromagi are undead nerubian casters scattered around and on top of the crashed ziggurat.
They can be found raising fallen Argent Crusade soldiers from the dead, with lines like “Rise and serve!” and “Now you are in the Lich King’s embrace.”
Kill 8 of them and return to Sergeant Moonshard.
Respawn Warning: The Necromagi have a notoriously slow respawn rate. Even during off-peak hours, you may spend 10+ minutes here waiting for enough to spawn. This is the main frustration with the quest.
Pair with: Skimmer Spinnerets from Specialist Cogwheel (same hub, same area). Hath’ar Skimmers share the Kolramas area with the Necromagi. Kill skimmers while waiting for Necromagi to respawn, and you’ll finish both quests in one trip.
Tips
Completion Note: Moonshard’s turn-in dialogue is unusually emotional for a quest NPC. He mourns his fallen comrades being raised as undead and says “We must do more to show respect for the memories of those men!”
This leads directly into the follow-up Malas the Corrupter, where Moonshard sends you to kill the leader of the Kolramas Scourge forces.
Lore Context
Kolramas is a crashed Scourge necropolis. The Drakkari trolls brought it down during their war against the Scourge, but the Hath’ar nerubians inside survived the impact. They’re now using the wreckage as a base to raise fallen Argent Crusade soldiers as undead.
The Necromagi’s act of raising crusaders is what makes this personal for Moonshard. These aren’t just generic Scourge targets. They’re the sergeant’s own comrades being desecrated.
Malas the Corrupter, the Scourge leader at Kolramas, sits atop the crashed ziggurat. He’s a group quest (suggested 2 players), but can be soloed by kiting classes since he’s very slow. He has a movement-slowing debuff called Wavering Will.

We understood each other.
The Hath’ar were scattered through the wreckage, skeletal hands weaving spells over Crusader corpses. The mace answered each one.
When I returned, Moonshard’s voice cracked. “It’s not enough. We must do more to show respect for the memories of those men.”
I only nodded, one kaldorei to another.
The Necromagi were dead. We needed the one responsible, and his name was Malas the Corrupter
