Story Context
This is the culmination of the entire Dying Loa questline. Tol’mar, a Zandalari observer who took an oath not to interfere, finally breaks his vow after witnessing Akali’s murder firsthand. His quest text is raw emotion: “Did ya see it, mon? It musta been da most awful thing I ever seen. Da great Akali, slain right before my eyes. Horrible… I done took an oath not ta be gettin’ involved here. My job be to observe only. But dis cannot stand!”
When you return with the job done: “Ya done it?! Gal’darah be no more? Here ya go, mon. Take dis gift for bringin’ justice to that wretch.”
Gal’darah was the High Prophet of Akali who drank the rhino god’s blood to steal his power. His dungeon abilities (charges, impales, rhino transformation) are all fueled by Akali’s stolen essence.
Killing him is the direct payoff of 26 quests’ worth of buildup.

Vikstone's War Journal“It musta been da most awful thing I ever seen,” Tol’mar said. “Da great Akali, slain right before my eyes. I done took an oath not ta be gettin’ involved. My job be to observe only. But dis cannot stand!”
Gundrak, the capital of a dying empire.

Three high prophets had held this place since the god-killings began. Slad’ran killed Sseratus, his own serpent god, and became half-snake for his trouble. Moorabi drank Mam’toth’s blood after the mammoth god destroyed himself rather than be taken. And Gal’darah drove the blade into Akali’s heart.
We took them in order.
Slad’ran fell surrounded by his serpents, poison still dripping from fangs that were meant to protect his god, not devour him. Moorabi tried to become what he’d stolen, transforming into mammoth form again and again until we broke him.
Gal’darah waited in the inner sanctum, drunk on rhino-god power, summoning spirit stampedes and spinning through whirlwind slashes. He transformed. We adapted. He fell.
“Ya done it?!” Tol’mar’s relief was palpable. “Gal’darah be no more? Here ya go, mon. Take dis gift for bringin’ justice to that wretch.”
Justice. Four loa dead, one free, and three prophets who thought divinity could be stolen like gold from a vault.
Gundrak is finished, but Zul’Drak’s other war keeps grinding along the Ebon Watch perimeter in Feedin’ Da Goolz.
