• Location: Altar of Quetz’lun [75, 58], northeast of Har’koa’s altar
• Chain Position: 15 of 27 in the Dying Loa/Har’koa questline
• Combat: Minimal. You enter a phased underworld where most threats are removed.
• Prerequisite Buff: The Breath of Har’koa from the previous quest is what enables you to enter the underworld.

Walkthrough

Travel to the Altar of Quetz’lun

• Head northeast from Har’koa to the Altar of Quetz’lun at [75, 58]. This is the same location the kitten took you during I Sense a Disturbance.
• When you enter the altar area, the Breath of Har’koa buff automatically phases you into Quetz’lun’s underworld, the realm of the dead. The world visually shifts.

Navigate the Underworld

• In this phased state, the elite mobs that normally fill the altar are gone. You’re in the spirit world now.
• Non-elite Drakkari trolls may still be present and hostile along the approach, but they’re standard solo mobs.
• You can mount up in the underworld, including flying mounts if you’re level 77+.

Speak with Quetz’lun’s Spirit

• Find Quetz’lun’s Spirit inside the altar building. She’s not happy to see you. Her greeting is hostile: she demands to know why she shouldn’t destroy you on the spot.
• Talk to her to complete the quest. She gives the follow-up, Setting the Stage, directly. You’ll be staying in this underworld for the next several quests.

Efficiency Tips

• No Return Trip: Quetz’lun gives follow-up quests herself. You won’t need to go back to Har’koa until later in the chain, so settle in at the Altar of Quetz’lun.
• Underworld Persistence: You remain in the phased underworld as long as the quest chain keeps you there. Subsequent quests in this area are all done in this spirit realm.

Lore Context

This is the entrance to one of Zul’Drak’s most unique quest areas. Unlike the other loa who were simply killed, Quetz’lun created her own private underworld to trap and torture the followers who betrayed her. She’s dead, but she’s far from powerless, and she’s not interested in being saved. She wants revenge.
