Collect 8 Sacred Adornments from Har'koan Subduers and Claws near [62, 67].

~30-40% drop rate. Skip the cats (Cursed Offspring don't drop adornments). Subduers have a slightly better rate than Claws. Expect 20-30 kills. Farm in a loop around the altar. On turn-in, Har'koa casts The Breath of Har'koa on you, which is required for the next quest. Follow-up sends you east to the Altar of Quetz'lun at [75, 58].

Vikstone's Classic Expedition

Eight adornments stripped from priests who once sang prayers at Har'koa's altar. The goddess watched Vikstone lay them at her feet and said she never imagined it would come to this.

“Quetz’lun may be dead, but I can still feel her spirit lingering in the underworld at the altar. We have to find a way to get you to her. Luckily for us, I just happen to have a supply of former supplicants at hand who are no longer in need of their sacred adornments. Both my subduers and claws are likely to still be wearing them.

Bring the adornments to me and I’ll draw upon their energy to enable you to cross over into Quetz’lun’s underworld nightmare.”

Har’koa wants you to collect 8 Sacred Adornments. Deliver them to her at the Altar of Har’koa.

Sacred Adornment (8)

Hunt the Trolls:
Focus on killing Har'koan Subduers and Claws of Har'koa, as they are the mobs that drop the Sacred Adornments.
Coordinates: Around 62, 67, near Har'koa.
Ignore the Cats:
The Cursed Offspring of Har'koa do not drop the quest item. You can kill them for experience or skinning, but they are not required for the quest.
Complete the Collection:
Sacred Adornments have a 40% drop rate, so you may need to kill a fair number of trolls. Concentrate on the Subduers for a potentially higher drop rate.
Return to Har'koa:
Once you have collected all 8 Sacred Adornments, return to Har'koa at 63.6, 70.4 to turn in the quest. — **Hunt the Trolls:** Focus on killing Har’koan Subduers and Claws of Har’koa, as they are the mobs that drop the Sacred Adornments. Coordinates: Around 62, 67, near Har’koa.
**Return to Har’koa:** Once you have collected all 8 Sacred Adornments, return to Har’koa at 63.6, 70.4 to turn in the quest.

Walkthrough

Kill Har’koan Subduers and Claws of Har’koa around [62, 67] for Sacred Adornments.
Skip the cats. The Cursed Offspring of Har’koa do not drop the quest item.
Drop rate is roughly 30-40%, with Subduers reportedly having a slightly better rate than Claws. Expect to kill around 20-30 trolls for all 8.
Return to Har’koa to turn in. She casts The Breath of Har’koa on you, which is needed for the next quest.

Efficiency Tips

Prioritize Subduers over Claws for a marginally better drop rate.
Farm in a loop around the altar area. The trolls respawn quickly enough that you shouldn’t run out of targets.
The follow-up, Seek the Wind Serpent Goddess, sends you to the Altar of Quetz’lun at [75, 58], so prepare for a longer trip after turning in.

Her former worshippers, the Subduers and Claws who once served her altar.

They fought like the corrupted things they’d become. I stripped the adornments from priests who once sang prayers beneath Har’koa’s altar.

When I laid them before her, the goddess’s sadness was visible even in her spectral form.

“I never imagined it would come to this. The Drakkari are truly lost.” She studied the symbols. “There was a time when these meant something. Let’s see if we can put them to better use.”

The adornments carried enough residual prayer to open a door between worlds. Har’koa’s breath settled over Vikstone, and the path to a dead goddess’s underworld opened east in Seek the Wind Serpent Goddess.
