“I have something special planned for my favorite high priests. But first you get to prove yourself in laying the foundation for my revenge. You do still want to live, yes? As you have seen, my devotees are enjoying their stay here, but now it’s time for them to make final restitution. Do me the smallest of favors if you would, Vikstone. Lure them near my soul fonts and then put an end to their existences.
They taste so delicious, and their sacrifice will not go in vain, I can assure you.”

Lore Context
Quetz’lun is feeding on her own worshippers’ souls, harvesting the spiritual energy she needs for vengeance against the Prophet who betrayed her. She frames it as “final restitution,” but the quest text makes clear she relishes the act. Her progress text threatens to destroy you “with but a thought” if you come back incomplete.
Even as a dead goddess, Quetz’lun is not someone who tolerates being kept waiting.

Vikstone's War Journal“I have something special planned for my high priests,” Quetz’lun said. “But first, prove yourself. You do still want to live, yes?”

The threat wasn’t subtle and neither was the task.
“Lure my devotees near my soul fonts and put an end to their existences. They taste so delicious.”
The worshippers and berserkers glowed purple near the fonts, marked for consumption. I killed them where she wanted them killed.
Twelve deaths later, Quetz’lun’s satisfaction was palpable. Her trapped servants, consumed entirely, fuel for her revenge and nothing more.
I was helping a murdered goddess torture her murderers.
Quetz’lun’s power was growing in the dark. The foundation is laid. What comes next is the revenge itself, and a dead goddess with a grudge spanning eternity doesn’t do anything halfway in Hell Hath a Fury.
