To Stars’ Rest!

Quest Giver: Rodney Wells — Gryphon station, Wintergarde Keep, Dragonblight

Objective: Speak with the Image of Archmage Modera at Stars’ Rest in western Dragonblight.

Walkthrough

• Accept the quest from Rodney Wells at the gryphon station. Upon accepting, you are immediately placed on a fast gryphon and flown directly to Stars’ Rest. There’s no manual travel required.
• Dismount and cancel shapeshift forms before accepting. If you’re mounted, you’ll get “You are already mounted! Dismount first.” If shapeshifted (druids), you’ll get “You can’t take a taxi while shapeshifted!” In either case you’ll need to abandon the quest and reacquire it from Rodney Wells.
• Once you land at Stars’ Rest [29, 55], speak with the Image of Archmage Modera to complete the quest. She’ll comment: “Vas heard my distress call then, eh? Not a moment too soon, friend.”
• Pick up the flight path at Stars’ Rest if this is your first visit. This is the main Alliance flight point for western Dragonblight.

Efficiency Tips

• Stars’ Rest opens up several quest lines immediately, including Rifle the Bodies, Prevent the Accord, and A Strange Device. Grab them all before heading out.
• The gryphon ride is faster than a normal flight path, so don’t worry about finding your own way there.
