“Those troops are sure to be needin’ a hefty supply of food in their bellies. I’ll let you in on a little secret that a squeamish Night Elf like you would never know… those jormungar worms taste just like chicken. Go provoke one of those giant hulking jormungar to the east.
You’re not likely to be able to kill one straight out, so just toss this down its throat when it opens its mouth wide. Bring me back as many of the slabs of meat as you can tote.”

Story Context
Xink explains that jormungar meat “tastes just like chicken” and the troops need food. He also slips in a cheeky dig at your character’s race: “I’ll let you in on a little secret that a squeamish <race> like you would never know…”
The irony is especially thick if you’re playing an Undead with the Cannibalize racial.

Vikstone's War Journal“I’ll let you in on a little secret that a squeamish night elf like you would never know.” Xink leaned in conspiratorially. “Those jormungar worms taste just like chicken.”
I had doubts.

“Those troops are sure to be needin’ a hefty supply of food in their bellies. Go provoke one of those giant hulking jormungar to the east.” He tossed me an explosive charge. “You’re not likely to be able to kill one straight out, so just toss this down its throat when it opens its mouth wide. Bring me back as many of the slabs of meat as you can tote.”
The Hulking Jormungar was armored in scales thick as plate. My axe bit deep but the thing barely seemed to notice. It coiled, struck, coiled again. I kept moving, kept cutting, waiting for the moment Xink had described.
There. The creature faltered, maw gaping wide in a threat display.
I threw the charge.
The explosion painted the snow red. Seared meat scattered across a twenty-foot radius, still steaming. The smell was… actually not terrible. Almost savory.
I gathered the slabs, trying not to think too hard about what I was doing.
Xink’s face split into a grin when I returned. “Did ya get it all? You certainly stink of it.” He laughed. “Ha ha! One of those meat slabs landed clear over here! Nice work there!”
Somewhere, soldiers would be eating jormungar tonight. Whether it actually tasted like chicken remained to be seen.
For one proud moment goblin engineering actually worked, and the Mistress of the Coldwind took a different view of it, which is why Narf wants somebody to Harp on this!
