<Har’koa sighs>
Take this ritual kit and enact it near Quetz’lun’s corpse upon her altar. If everything works properly, her spirit should be drawn into the material world where she will be able to reclaim her power from the prophet. The rest will be up to you, Vikstone. Lore Context
This is the payoff for the entire Quetz’lun underworld arc. Everything you did in her nightmare realm, from collecting power fragments to hexing her high priests, was building toward this moment: luring her spirit back to the physical world so she could reclaim the power her Prophet stole.
Quetz’lun is terrifying, vindictive, and completely unapologetic about dragging her betrayer into eternal torment. The other loa were victims; Quetz’lun is a force of retribution.
Har’koa’s sigh when she gives you the quest (“This is what it has come down to… revenge”) reveals her mixed feelings. She’s facilitating another goddess’s vengeance, not a rescue. It’s a morally complicated moment in a chain that’s otherwise about saving the loa.

Vikstone's War JournalMam’toth’s blood worked. Har’koa’s chains shattered. “I’m free! Quickly, enact Quetz’lun’s revenge. I’ll meet you at Zim’Torga.”

At the altar, Quetz’lun’s corpse lay where her prophet had left it. I enacted the ritual.
Reality tore. Quetz’lun’s spirit manifested, coiling through the air, and her scream shook the altar stones: “TIME TO DIE, FOOL!”
The prophet stumbled backward. “What? How is this possible?”
“I’ve returned to invite you to my housewarming in the underworld!” She grinned wide. “My little friend here is going to ease your way into the afterlife.”
The power ripped out of him. He screamed as it went, clawing at nothing. What remained was a husk, barely standing.
“Wait… STOP! You can’t take back the power!!!”
But she already had.
One swing. Done.
Quetz’lun’s satisfaction radiated through the altar. “Well done. I’ll see to it that my prophet enjoys his eternal stay with me.”
“Little friend.” I’d helped a goddess condemn a soul to eternal torture.
Khufu shook his head when I reported to Zim’Torga. “It sounds like you barely escaped that underworld alive. I’m glad it’s you out there. I don’t know if I’d have had the courage.”
Neither did I.
The prophet is eternal now, just not the way he planned. Quetz’lun’s revenge is sealed, and Har’koa waits at Zim’Torga with what comes next. Somewhere in the upper ruins, a warlord’s key unlocks something that shouldn’t be opened in The Key of Warlord Zol’Maz.
