Quest Giver: Dr. Rogers — Drak’Sotra, Zul’Drak [58, 72]

Objective: Find Crusader Jonathan, Crusader Lamoof, and Crusader Josephine. Use the Crusader’s Bandage on each one and escort them safely back to Dr. Rogers.

Crusader Locations

All three crusaders are lying on the ground inside small stone troll buildings in the Drak’Sotra ruins. They’re easy to miss if you’re looking for them outdoors.

Walkthrough

Use the Crusader’s Bandage on a wounded crusader to revive them, then lead them back to Dr. Rogers at [58, 72]. Do them one at a time. The bandage has a 2-minute cooldown, and the crusaders’ bleed-out timers are too short to chain multiple rescues before returning.

After bandaging, mount up immediately and ride straight back to Dr. Rogers. Don’t wait for the crusader to follow you on foot. They will path back on their own and catch up, even if they fall way behind or leave your minimap.

You don’t fail for being too far ahead. Just wait at the camp and they’ll arrive.

Critical pathing detail: The crusader must walk through the front doorway of Dr. Rogers’ building, past Captain Rupert. If they path in over the rubble on the side of the building, you won’t get credit even if the crusader is standing right next to the doctor. Position yourself at the front entrance to guide their pathing.

With Cold Weather Flying (level 77+): This quest becomes trivial. Fly to each crusader, bandage, then fly directly back. The crusader teleports/paths to you regardless of altitude.

Efficiency Tips

• The Ensorceled Choker (from the Drakuru infiltration chain) disguises you as Scourge, letting you walk through mobs without pulling aggro. Useful for ground-mount approaches.
• Crusaders can draw mob attention while walking back, but they don’t stop to fight. They’ll keep running toward you.
• If a crusader dies before reaching the camp (“Oh! I cannot go on any more!”), you can return to their body and re-bandage them once the 2-minute cooldown is up.
• Don’t delete the Crusader’s Bandage. Dr. Rogers won’t give you a replacement, and you’ll have to abandon and retake the quest.
• Rogues can stealth while the NPC follows you.
• Suggested order: Jonathan first (farthest from the other two, longest timer), then Josephine, then Lamoof (shortest timer but closest to camp).

Known Issues

• Crusader won’t register as saved: They must walk through the front door threshold past Captain Rupert. If they entered over rubble or from the side, they won’t count. Stand near the front door to guide their path.
• Crusader stuck in building: The stone buildings can cause pathing issues. Try flying away from them or clearing the path of mobs.
• Josephine not arriving: Josephine occasionally gets stuck on stairs or geometry. If she doesn’t show up within her time window, she may have gotten caught on terrain. Retry after she dies.

Lore Context

The quest name is likely a reference to the US Army Ranger Creed (“I will never leave a fallen comrade”) or the film Black Hawk Down, whose soundtrack includes a piece called “Leave No Man Behind.”

Drak’Sotra is one of the Argent Crusade’s forward outposts in the Drak’Sotra troll ruins. Captain Brandon and Captain Rupert run Troll Patrol daily quests from this same area, making it a familiar location for players grinding Argent Crusade reputation.

Crusader Lamoof is a gnome, which may explain his shorter bleed-out timer.
