“I feel refreshed… renewed… but the plague still grips me. Not to worry, I am still eternally grateful that you went to such lengths for me, a complete stranger. If nothing else, you’ve bought me a few more precious hours not plaguing the world as a hideous undead. Thank you, Warrior.
Please extend my thanks to Tirion as well, and let him know that it has been an honor to serve beside him.”

Lore Context
The Emerald Acorn slowed the plague’s advance and gave Bridenbrad more time, but it did not cure him. He sends you to Tirion not with a farewell, but with thanks and a report that there is still something left worth fighting for. Tirion’s response at turn-in — “No reason to fret though, I have met other beings of good that may still be of aid to us” — sets up the next leg of the chain directly.

Vikstone's War JournalThe green light had faded by morning. The dark veins remained.

He sat straighter, and his breathing came easier. A reprieve, not a pardon.
“I feel refreshed,” he said. “Renewed.” Then, after a moment: “But the plague still grips me.”
He watched me take that in, and shook his head before I could put anything on my face.
“Not to worry. I am still eternally grateful that you went to such lengths for me, a complete stranger. If nothing else, you’ve bought me a few more precious hours not plaguing the world as a hideous undead.”
A few more precious hours. He said it lightly, which is how soldiers say the true things.
“Please extend my thanks to Tirion as well,” he said, “and let him know that it has been an honor to serve beside him.”
The plague has taken his color and most of his strength, and it cannot get one inch further in.
Tirion heard it standing.
“It saddens me to hear that it did not work. No reason to fret though. I have met other beings of good that may still be of aid to us.”
Other beings of good, held like an inventory he has not reached the bottom of. A keeper of the grove has already tried and bought hours. Whoever Tirion means to ask next stands higher than the son of a demigod.
The Highlord is not finished fighting for this man. It turns out neither am I.
Nature had given its two breaths and stepped aside, so Tirion reached higher, toward the one being on this continent whose entire dominion is life itself, and asked Vikstone to climb Wyrmrest Temple carrying The Touch of an Aspect.
