Lore Context
Vile speaks in broken third-person, a charming holdover from whatever he was before Baron Sliver’s Sovereign Rod broke the Lich King’s hold on him. His quest dialogue is endearingly simple: “Dem vrykuls at the Jotunheim needs to be crushed!” and on completion: “<name> is my bestest little <race>!”
He’s become a fan-favorite NPC for this reason.
Two of the five weapon rewards carry Vile’s own name, Vile’s Uglystick and Vile’s Poker, alongside the plainer Vrykul Crusher, Wrought-Iron Staff, and Bow of Bone and Sinew.

Vikstone's War JournalVile patrols the road outside the vault and he was waiting for me on it.

“Dem vrykuls at the Jotunheim needs to be crushed! Vikstone crush dems good!”
Simple enough.
I have spent a week learning what that place is. Lankral explained it: they sort themselves there, and the winners go on to Ymirheim as Ymirjar and the losers are made into Vargul. So the training grounds are full of people trying to pass an examination, and I went through them, and then I went through the ones at the meadery who were not trying anything at all and were too far into the drink to stand up properly.
Fifteen. That is the number and it does not distinguish.
Vile was on the road again when I came back and he had clearly been watching for me.
“Vikstone is my bestest little night elf!”
Nine days ago I killed him on a ledge with an axe. Now he is the only thing on this glacier that is pleased to see me.
What he wanted next was not more corpses but a bigger fire, which is how a sentence like Vile Like Fire! ends up being an order.
