“One of the first things Jonah Sterling did after he went crazy was to take my prized sin’dorei scrying crystal and feed it to the bane of my existence, “Scoodles” the orca. No I didn’t name the damned thing. I just know that she swims out past the ships directly southeast of Scalawag. Kill that overinflated goldfish and rip out my beautiful sin’dorei crystal from its stomach.
Do this and we can get down to business.”

Vikstone's War JournalHarry’s price, as it turned out, was an orca.

“One of the first things Jonah Sterling did after he went crazy was to take my prized sin’dorei scrying crystal and feed it to the bane of my existence, ‘Scoodles’ the orca.”
He said the name with such venom I almost laughed.
“No, I didn’t name the damned thing. I just know that she swims out past the ships directly southeast of Scalawag. Kill that overinflated goldfish and rip out my beautiful sin’dorei crystal from its stomach. Do this and we can get down to business.”
I swam out past the anchored frigates and found Scoodles patrolling the murky waters beneath the pirate fleet. She was no goldfish. Her bulk turned with surprising grace when she spotted me, and her first charge forced me deeper to avoid jaws that snapped where my head had been.
Underwater combat is a miserable business. Every swing fights the current. She answered my glancing blow with a tail strike that sent me tumbling. When she came in again, I met her open mouth with steel driven by both arms and the current’s push. The orca went still, drifting upward, and I cut the crystal free from her belly before surfacing.
Harry took the crystal from me and he cradled it against his chest and began stroking it gently.
“Oh my precious! Did the big, mean whale hurt you? It’ll be okay. I’ll never let you out of my sight again!”
He looked up, remembered I was there, and cleared his throat.
“So, where were we?”
Harry had his crystal back and was finally willing to talk, and the first of the four he named was The Ancient Armor of the Kvaldir.
