“Just south of us the caribou used to roam freely, peacefully. Then Nesingwary showed up and everything changed. Now the caribou are in a perpetual state of frenzy, always in a panic. They are stalked by the hunters and trappers hidden in the field. Nesingwary’s executioners are unfit for death. They must feel the torture that they put the caribou through!
Take this pile of fake furs and lay it upon their caribou traps to the south. Watch as the hunters are caught in their own deadly traps!”
-Zaza
Zaza at the D.E.H.T.A. Encampment in the Borean Tundra wants you to use the Pile of Fake Furs to trap 8 Nesingwary Trappers.
Provided item:

Quest Giver: Zaza at D.E.H.T.A. Encampment [56.8, 44.1]
Turn In: Zaza at D.E.H.T.A. Encampment [56.8, 44.1]
Objective: Use the Pile of Fake Furs to trap 8 Nesingwary Trappers.
Quick Facts
Walkthrough
Location: Grassy plains south of D.E.H.T.A. Encampment, approximately [56, 43] to [57, 54]. The traps are very close to the camp.
How to Complete:
CRITICAL: Only Some Traps Work
Not all traps function properly. Even though many traps sparkle, only traps that display a tooltip when you mouse over them are active. Before using your Pile of Fake Furs, hover your cursor over the trap to confirm it shows a label.
Symptoms of bugged traps:
If a trap doesn’t work, move to another one. There are plenty of working traps in the area.
Time-Saving Tip: Reuse Traps
You can use the same trap more than once. If you find a working trap, stay nearby and reuse it after the cooldown. This can save significant time compared to hunting for new traps.
Trapper Quotes
When the Nesingwary Trappers approach the fake furs and get caught, they shout one of these lines:
Warning: Animal Blood Debuff
Do NOT accidentally hit any caribou or other wildlife while doing this quest.
The D.E.H.T.A. members, including quest giver Zaza, will become hostile if you have the Animal Blood debuff. Wash it off in water before returning to turn in.
Story Context: Poetic Justice
Zaza explains the plight of the caribou:
“Just south of us the caribou used to roam freely, peacefully. Then Nesingwary showed up and everything changed. Now the caribou are in a perpetual state of frenzy, always in a panic. They are stalked by the hunters and trappers hidden in the field.”
“Nesingwary’s executioners are unfit for death. They must feel the torture that they put the caribou through! Take this pile of fake furs and lay it upon their caribou traps to the south. Watch as the hunters are caught in their own deadly traps!”
Upon completion:
“You do the Earth Mother’s work, <name>, but do not revel in this victory for too long. We have discovered the hiding place of the trapper leader.”
The hunters who set snares for innocent animals now become the prey.
Lore: Zaza the Frost Nymph
Zaza is a frost nymph, one of the nature spirits associated with Northrend’s frozen wilderness. Her presence at D.E.H.T.A. makes sense: as a guardian spirit of the natural world, she has a vested interest in protecting Borean Tundra’s wildlife from Nesingwary’s hunters.
Frost nymphs are distant relatives of the dryads of Kalimdor, adapted to arctic climates. While rare, they occasionally ally with druids and other nature-oriented organizations.

Vikstone's War JournalZaza handed me a pile of fake furs.

“Just south of us the caribou used to roam freely, peacefully. Then Nesingwary showed up and everything changed,” she said. “Now the caribou are in a perpetual state of frenzy, always in a panic. Stalked by hunters and trappers hidden in the field.”
She pressed the furs into my hands.
“Nesingwary’s executioners are unfit for death. They must feel the torture they put the caribou through! Take these fake furs and lay them upon the caribou traps to the south. Watch as the hunters are caught in their own deadly traps.” Her eyes hardened. “Feel no pity for them, elf.”
Piles of fake fur, carefully arranged to look like fresh kills. The trappers came running, eager for easy prey, and found themselves snared in their own devices.
There was something satisfying about watching them struggle. It was the same panic they’d inflicted on countless caribou, now theirs to experience. I didn’t intervene.
When I returned, Zaza nodded.
“You do the Earth Mother’s work. But do not revel in this victory for too long.” She looked south. “We have discovered the hiding place of the trapper leader.”
I hadn’t been reveling. But I hadn’t looked away, either.
Zaza said the trapper leader’s hideout had been found, and she had a name, Karen the Culler, and the Culler Cometh.
