Walkthrough

• From the Stormbreaker, head south to the barracks (the large building on the hill).
• General Arlos is on the second floor of the Inner Hold, in the command room.

Lore Context

• General Arlos’s dismissive response is troubling: “Counselor Talbot assures me that this was an isolated incident and not a cause for military concern.”
• This is your first hint that something is wrong at Valiance Keep. Arlos trusts his advisor completely and downplays a serious security breach.
• Unknown to Arlos (and the player at this point), Counselor Talbot is actually Prince Valanar, a San’layn vampire lord who has been mind-controlling the General. Talbot’s dismissal ensures the cultist infiltration continues unchecked.
• This foreshadowing pays off in The Hunt is On and the subsequent chain that exposes Valanar’s true identity at Naxxanar.
