Walkthrough

• From the barracks, head northeast to the Valiant Rest inn (the large building near the docks).
• Go inside and take the stairs up to the second floor.
• Turn around at the top of the stairs. Vindicator Yaala is in the small room directly behind you.

Lore Context

• Harbinger Vurenn cannot analyze the Cultist Communique openly. His investigation must remain secret because he doesn’t know how deep the cult’s infiltration runs within Valiance Keep’s leadership.
• His words are telling: “I must delegate to one of my operatives… someone who can work in secret. Tell her I sent you and speak of this matter to no one else. We do not know who might be working for the cult.”
• Vindicator Yaala serves as Vurenn’s covert operative. While Vurenn handles diplomatic relations with General Arlos (who is compromised), Yaala works from the inn to gather intelligence and coordinate the investigation outside official channels.
• This secrecy is essential. Counselor Talbot (Prince Valanar) has been deliberately blocking draenei involvement in the war effort specifically because their attunement to the Light poses the greatest threat to exposing his necromantic influence.
