Quest Giver: Chronicler To’kini at Zim’Torga, Zul’Drak [59, 57]

Objective: Speak to Chronicler Bah’kini at Dubra’Jin, Zul’Drak [70, 21].

Walkthrough

• Breadcrumb quest. To’kini asks you to check on his “long-time student” near Gundrak. Simply travel to Dubra’Jin, a small Zandalari outpost west of Gundrak, and speak to Bah’kini.
• If you’ve already discovered the Dubra’Jin flight path, just fly there. Otherwise, head northeast from Zim’Torga toward Gundrak and look for the small camp to its west.
• Note: The quest description says Bah’kini is “just west of Gundrak,” but it can cause confusion because the quest initially pointed them north. Trust the coordinates, not the compass direction.

Lore Note

To’kini describes Bah’kini as his “long-time student,” but the turn-in text reveals the truth: she’s actually his daughter. Bah’kini’s response is priceless, calling To’kini her “cowardly father” who was too afraid to set up a post near Gundrak himself, so he sent her instead.

Their full titles are both “Chronicler,” making them a father-daughter team of Zandalari historians documenting the fall of the Drakkari Empire.

Bah’kini’s name is a play on “bikini,” one of many cheeky Zandalari naming conventions Blizzard slipped into WotLK.
