Chronicler Bah'Kini at Dubra'Jin [70, 21] needs 6 Drakkari History Tablets from inside Gundrak (south entrance at [81, 28]). Tablets are clickable objects scattered through the entry hall, enough for the whole party per clear. Stealth classes can Prowl through and collect without pulling, completing it solo in two resets.

Accept the Quest: Speak to Chronicler Bah'Kini in Dubra’Jin to pick up the quest. Enter Gundrak: Use the southern entrance of Gundrak at 81,28. If soloing, be prepared to carefully navigate around mobs. Locate Drakkari Tablets: The tablets are scattered throughout the dungeon, often leaning against walls or in corners. Common tablet locations: Near the entrance, just inside the doorway. To the right of the sparring trolls in the first room. Near the stairs leading down to the center of the room. Objective: Enter Gundrak and collect 6 Drakkari History Tablets.

Prerequisite: Just Checkin’ (breadcrumb from To’kini).

Walkthrough

The Drakkari History Tablets are ground-spawning objects scattered throughout the first area of Gundrak (the entry hall past the south entrance at [81, 28]). They appear as clickable tablets on the floor and walls.
In a normal dungeon group, there are enough tablets for the entire party (at least 6 per clear). Collect them as you progress through the dungeon.
Tablets spawn in several locations in the entry area: near the doorway, beside the steps leading down to the central room, across the sparring area, and near the weapon racks. Their exact positions shift between resets, but the first room typically has 3 or more available.
Turn in to Bah’kini at Dubra’Jin after leaving the dungeon.

Solo Strategies

Stealth classes have a significant advantage. Rogues and Feral Druids can Prowl through the entry area, collect tablets without pulling anything, and exit. You can complete it in under 15 minutes across two instance resets.
Non-stealth classes can use a death-run approach: strip gear to avoid durability loss, aggro the two guards at the entrance, kite them up the ramp, jump into the water to lose them, then run back in and grab tablets before dying. Two resets should be enough.
Hunters can Feign Death between tablet pickups. Try the south entrance: grab the first tablet without aggro, run for the second and Feign Death, work the right wall for a third, then repeat after a reset.

Note: Despite being picked up and turned in outside the dungeon in Zul’Drak, this quest does not count toward The Empire of Zul’Drak achievement. None of the Gundrak dungeon quests do.

Lore Note

Bah’kini’s mission is explicitly preservation: she wants to record the Drakkari’s fall so future troll generations won’t repeat the same mistakes of sacrificing their own gods.

The tablets you recover are authentic historical records of the empire’s descent. This mirrors the real-world role of the Zandalari as record-keepers of all troll history, a theme that becomes central to their portrayal in Battle for Azeroth.

Cross-Expansion Connection

Bah’kini’s fear that “history be repeatin’ itself” proves prophetic. In Battle for Azeroth, the traitorous Prophet Zul attempts to drain the Zandalari loa using methods learned from the Drakkari example. The very records Bah’kini worked to preserve apparently weren’t enough to stop Zul from following the same dark path.
