Quest Giver: Bouldercrag the Rockshaper — Bouldercrag’s Refuge, Storm Peaks [31, 38]

Objective: Retrieve the Colossus Attack Specs and Colossus Defense Specs from Narvir’s Cradle and return them to Bouldercrag.

Walkthrough

• Fly south to Narvir’s Cradle [29, 45]. You’ve been here twice already for the forge/artificer quests.
• Collect two ground-spawn documents. Both have loot sparkle and are visible from the air:
  • Colossus Attack Specs: [28.9, 44.0] — near a tent north of the Colossus. One commenter describes it as an “actual tent” distinct from the canopy structures.
  • Colossus Defense Specs: [30.0, 45.7] — near two canopy-style tents close to the Colossus’s feet, in the same area where the Lightning Forges were.
• The documents look like flat paper or map objects on the ground, not chests or crates. They’re easy to spot from low altitude thanks to the sparkle effect.
• Return to Bouldercrag the Rockshaper at Bouldercrag’s Refuge.

Efficiency Tips

• You can complete this without fighting anything. Fly in at low altitude, dismount next to each document, loot it, and remount. The documents are positioned so that a quick land-and-grab avoids most nearby mob aggro ranges.
• Druids can loot in Flight Form. No need to shift out. Swoop down, loot, and fly away without ever touching the ground as a player character.
• Don’t confuse the area with Nidavelir. If you’re looking at the village where you fought Valduran, you’re in the wrong place. Narvir’s Cradle is the open construction pit with the massive unfinished Iron Colossus standing in the middle of it, south of Bouldercrag’s Refuge.

Lore & Context

This is the intelligence-gathering step before the final assault. Bouldercrag’s sabotage (destroying forges, killing artificers) bought time but didn’t stop the project. The stormforged have simply brought in more workers and pushed harder. Now Bouldercrag needs to understand what the weapon can actually do.

Bouldercrag’s completion text is a turning point. Reading the captured specs, his eyes go wide: “I had no idea the irons were capable of this! Our men will have no chance against this behemoth if it’s completed.”

But there’s a glimmer of hope: “Fortunately, it looks like they’re still lacking a key part.” That missing component is the Heart of the Storm, a titan power source stored in Uldis, a sealed titan facility far to the south. The next quest sends you to retrieve it before Overseer Narvir can.
