Objective: Collect and turn in 10 Relics of Ulduar to your faction’s vendor.

Walkthrough
This is a straightforward collection quest. Pick up the quest from your faction’s NPC, collect 10 Relics of Ulduar by killing any mobs in Storm Peaks, and turn them in.
Where Relics Drop: Relics of Ulduar have a chance to drop from virtually every enemy in Storm Peaks, as well as from mobs inside the Halls of Stone, Halls of Lightning, and the Ulduar raid. There are no faction-specific or level-specific restrictions on drops. You will accumulate these naturally while doing other Storm Peaks content.
Efficient Farming Spots
Do Alongside: Any Storm Peaks quest content. You’ll collect Relics passively while doing Sons of Hodir dailies like Spy Hunter, Feeding Arngrim, or Stemming the Aggressors. There is no reason to farm Relics as a dedicated activity unless you need a large stockpile for reputation turn-ins (see below).
On quest completion, you pick one of these as your reward:

| Drakefire Chile Ale (x2) | Belch fire, dealing ~450 fire damage/sec for 8 seconds. Storm Peaks only. |
Tip: Take whichever you’ll actually use. Snowfall Lager is handy for dismounting in the mountains without dying. Drakefire Chile Ale is a fun AoE novelty. You can buy more of any drink after completing the quest (see vendor table).
After you complete Ancient Relics, Rork Sharpchin (or Olut Alegut for Horde) unlocks as a vendor. You can purchase any of these items using Relics of Ulduar as currency:

All ale effects are restricted to Storm Peaks. The Iron Boot Flask works everywhere but is dispelled by mounting or shapeshifting.
Relics of Ulduar: The Bigger Picture
This quest is really the gateway to a larger Relic economy. After completing Ancient Relics, you have two ongoing uses for Relics of Ulduar:
For players pushing toward Exalted with Sons of Hodir for shoulder enchants, stockpiling Relics (or buying them off the AH) can significantly accelerate the grind on top of daily quests.
Lore Context
Frosthold is the ancestral home of the Frostborn, a race of frost dwarves who migrated from Uldaman to the Storm Peaks. Their blue-tinted skin differentiates them from Ironforge dwarves. The Explorers’ League has allied with the Frostborn against the iron dwarves, and Rork is one of several League members stationed here.
The Frostborn’s king, Yorg Stormheart, is secretly Muradin Bronzebeard, the middle Bronzebeard brother believed dead after Arthas claimed Frostmourne. Alliance players eventually help him recover his memories.
The Relics of Ulduar themselves are titan-forged artifacts scattered across the Storm Peaks, remnants of the enormous titan complex that dominates the zone. The Explorers’ League has a vested interest in cataloguing them.

A dwarf offering beer in exchange for titan artifacts and assuring me I have come out ahead on it. I had forgotten how much I liked the Explorers’ League.
I had ten relics in the pack. I had handed ten more to Lillehoff at Dun Niffelem two days before, where they go on a table as tribute to a giant.
Rork laid mine out, sorted them by size, and started writing in a book.
“Beaut! Yer a good one you are. Tilt one back wi’ me! Let us celebrae’ this glorious find!”
I tilted one back. Snowfall Lager, which he assured me will slow a man’s fall if he happens to come off something, and given what that spear at Dun Niffelem has been putting into my head lately I took two.
He is the same dwarf who scraped me out of a snowbank the day I arrived in these mountains and asked whether I had come to help find a road into Icecrown. He has not raised it since. Neither have I.
Rork drank to titan relics and asked no questions about where they came from, though somebody in these mountains had been keeping count of what was taken and what was owed, and settling that ledger started with Offering Thanks.
