Sindragosa’s Fall: The Location
Sindragosa’s Fall is named for the ancient blue dragon Sindragosa, former prime consort of Malygos, the Aspect of Magic. She died over 10,000 years ago during the War of the Ancients when Neltharion (Deathwing) betrayed the other dragonflights using the Dragon Soul.
Her body crashed into the ice of what would become Northrend, and her skeleton lay frozen in the glaciers for millennia.
The Lich King discovered her remains and raised her as the most powerful frost wyrm in his arsenal. Sindragosa serves as the penultimate boss of Icecrown Citadel, guarding the approach to the Frozen Throne.
Cult Activity
The cultists you kill in this quest are not just random enemies. They are the Cult of the Damned’s frost wyrm production line, using the rich deposit of dragon bones at the Fall to raise new frostbrood.
The Wyrm Reanimators are specifically engaged in resurrecting dragon remains, while the Cultist Corrupters and Vrykul Necrolords provide support and protection for the operation.
Disrupting this operation is a direct strategic blow against the Scourge’s aerial forces.

Fifty-fifty on the doing, and worse than that on the coming back. He said it as a compliment to me and it is a piece of accounting about everybody else, and he did not slow down over either half of it.
The Fall is a crater east of the valley and the thing in it was Sindragosa, who was queen of the frostbrood before she was a quarry. Her ribs come up out of the ice higher than the Skybreaker’s rail. There is a great deal of her.
The cultists were working the bones in three trades. Wyrm Reanimators putting corruption down into old marrow. Cultist Corrupters channeled something into it that left a taste at the back of my mouth for an hour afterward. Vrykul Necrolords standing over both, supervising.
The Reanimators died mid-incantation, which is the only sensible time to take a man who is casting. The Corrupters’ wards came apart under the Destroyer without much argument. The Necrolords were the work. Their magic went at my guard properly and one of them held me longer than I would have liked.
By the end my arms were finished and there was frost wyrm bone in fragments all over the snow, some of it hers.
The wind comes through the sockets of that skull and makes a noise. It is only wind. I stood in it longer than the errand required, and then I went back up to the ship and told Thassarian it was done.
Nice job, he said. He is going to send somebody else out tomorrow on his fifty-fifty.
Matthias has moved east to stand among the bones himself, and what he means to show Vikstone there is the night Where Dragons Fell.
