“It be as the prophecies said, mon. A Night Elf Warrior be comin’ to set our spirits to rest. We been waitin’ for a long time now! The Drakkari have become a lost people, fierce and savage. But here we suffer by no fault of our own, mon. This place need cleansin’ and only the living can do it. Speak to me when ya be ready to rejoin your body. Then take the snow from the chest near me here and put my bruddas to sleep.
Take their remnants to your spirit guide. He be knowin’ what to do next.”
-Gan’jo
Gan’jo wants you to collect the Snow of Eternal Slumber from his chest in the Drakil’jin Ruins. You are to use the Snow on the Ancient Drakkari Spirits there and take their Drakkari Spirit Particles back to Kraz at Harkor’s Camp.

Quest Giver: Gan’jo — Drakkari spirit inside the Drakil’jin crypt (accepted while in the spirit realm after completing See You on the Other Side)
Objective: Collect the Snow of Eternal Slumber from Gan’jo’s chest, use it on 5 Ancient Drakkari spirits inside the crypt, and collect 5 Drakkari Spirit Particles from their remains. Return particles to Kraz at Harkor’s Camp.
Quick Facts
Walkthrough
Step 1: Accept Quest and Loot Snow (While Still Dead)
After completing See You on the Other Side, you’re still in the spirit realm talking to Gan’jo at [69.4, 19.5]. Accept Chill Out, Mon from him. Loot the Snow of Eternal Slumber from Gan’jo’s Chest right next to him. You can loot the chest while still in the spirit realm.
Step 2: Return to the Living
Talk to Gan’jo and ask him to resurrect you. This is required because, ironically, you must be alive to see the Ancient Drakkari spirits you need to use the Snow on. While you’re dead/in the spirit realm, the spirits aren’t visible or targetable.
If you’re still phased into the spirit realm after resurrection, move away from the ruins until the “On the Other Side” buff drops, then return.
Step 3: Use Snow on Ancient Drakkari Spirits
Return to the crypt rooms where you collected canopic jars for It Takes Guts. The same Ancient Drakkari Warmongers and Soothsayers are here, still neutral ghost NPCs. Target one and use the Snow of Eternal Slumber from your inventory.
What happens next is the quest’s distinctive visual sequence:
As each spirit runs to its final rest, it speaks:
These aren’t hostile reactions like the canopic jar quest. These spirits are grateful. You’re giving them peace.
Step 4: Collect 5 Spirit Particles
Loot the Drakkari Spirit Particles from each burning mummy. Repeat 5 times. The spirits are plentiful in the crypt, so you shouldn’t have trouble finding enough targets. Follow each spirit after freezing it; don’t loot a second snow before collecting the particles from the first, or you may lose track of where the mummy burned.
Step 5: Return to Kraz at Harkor’s Camp
Turn in at Kraz [73.8, 34.0]. His response shifts tone: “You have done well. Please, sit and listen. There are many things we must discuss.” He’s preparing you for the chain’s finale.
Lore Context
Gan’jo’s quest text is the emotional core of the chain. He reveals his people’s suffering: “It be as the prophecies said, mon. A <race> <class> be comin’ to set our spirits to rest. We been waitin’ for a long time now!”
He explains the Drakkari spirits are trapped through no fault of their own: “This place need cleansin’ and only the living can do it.” He calls the spirits you’re putting to rest “my bruddas” (brothers), making this personal for him.
The Snow of Eternal Slumber is essentially a mercy. You’re not destroying the spirits; you’re granting them the sleep they’ve been denied. Their grateful dialogue (“I could sleep forever, mon” and “Finally, I can be restin'”) confirms they’ve been in agony, kept awake and hostile by Warlord Jin’arrak’s corruption.
Compare this to It Takes Guts, where these same spirits attacked you furiously for disturbing their jars. Now, freed from hostility by the Snow, they finally find peace.
The Spirit Particles collected from the burning mummies are the material Kraz will fashion into Drakkari Spirit Dust for the final quest, Jin’arrak’s End. These remnants carry the spirits’ essence and will be used to create an offering powerful enough to destroy Jin’arrak.
The title “Chill Out, Mon” works as both a troll-dialect joke (“relax, friend”) and a literal description: you’re using magical snow to freeze and put the spirits to eternal sleep. Gan’jo’s name is self-explanatory.

Vikstone's War JournalGan’jo returned me to my body.

“Take the snow from the chest and put my bruddas to sleep,” he said. “They suffer by no fault of their own. Only the living can do what must be done.”
The Snow of Eternal Slumber burned cold in my hands. Each spirit I touched with it froze in place, then turned and walked toward its mummified corpse. The bodies ignited as their spirits returned, troll and wrappings consumed together.
“Finally, I can be restin’…” one whispered as it faded.
“I could sleep forever, mon….” said another.
They went willingly.
I gathered what they left behind and climbed back into daylight.
Kraz took the particles. “You have done well. Please, sit and listen. There are many things we must discuss.”
The warlord keeping all the others trapped is still down there, and the offering Kraz builds from their remains is meant to destroy him in Jin’arrak’s End.
