Objective: Collect Crafty’s Tools, an Overcharged Capacitor, and A Handful of Rocknar’s Grit. Deliver them to Crafty Wobblesprocket at Fizzcrank Airstrip.

Walkthrough
This quest sends you to three very different locations across Borean Tundra. Plan your route efficiently since Rocknar is in the far southeast corner of the zone.
Crafty’s Tools [64, 23] – Located at the Fizzcrank Pumping Station (the oil platform southeast of the airstrip). The toolbox is on the ground near a support pillar under the platform. Do not climb up onto the platform itself.
A Handful of Rocknar’s Grit [81, 42] – Travel to the Frozen Reach in southeastern Borean Tundra, between the Wailing Ziggurat and Unu’pe. Rocknar is a level 71 elemental encased in a large block of ice with undead wandering nearby. When you approach, he awakens and attacks.
Combat Notes:
Rocknar’s combat quotes include: “You think to take my primal essence? Come, let us see if you are hard as stone and ice!” and “Your presence unbalances the land. You must be removed!”
Overcharged Capacitor – This is the tricky one. Unlike the other items, the Overcharged Capacitor is not a world drop or ground spawn. You have three options:
Cost-Benefit Note: The entire Magmoth questline (from Dirty, Stinkin’ Snobolds! through the conclusion) rewards approximately 42-58 gold in vendorable quest rewards, plus reputation and experience. Whether the capacitor cost is worth it depends on your server’s economy and your interest in completing the chain.
Lore: Crafty’s “Creative Solution”
Crafty’s quest text reveals the gnomes’ predicament: “As you may have noticed, we created the airstrip on the southern border of a magnataur den!” She mutters something uncharitable about Fizzcrank under her breath before explaining that she’s been put in charge of finding a solution before the magnataur tear them limb from limb.
The items she’s collecting are components for building a shrinking device. In the follow-up quest, Hah… You’re Not So Big Now!, you’ll use her invention to shrink the massive Magmoth Crushers down to a manageable size before killing them. It’s a very gnomish solution to the problem of 20-foot-tall mammoth-centaurs: if you can’t beat them at full size, make them smaller.
Lore: What Is Rocknar?
Rocknar is an unusual elemental. Crafty’s Shopping List describes him as having “an icy exterior with a rocky core,” and his name (combining “rock” with elements of frost) hints at his dual nature. He’s believed to be a sandstorm elemental, a rare type that combines earth, air, and water.
His “grit” is apparently the key abrasive component Crafty needs for her device. The combination of frost immunity, earth-based armor abilities, and his philosophical combat dialogue (“Frozen and destroyed. This is all your fleshy corpse is good for.”) suggests a being that considers itself a guardian of elemental balance in the Frozen Reach.

Vikstone's War JournalCrafty tapped the list. “Get me everything on here. Please.” The list wasn’t long, but it sent me across half the zone.
She muttered something about Fizzcrank under her breath. Nothing charitable.
“The old man has put me in charge of finding a creative solution to this situation. If we don’t deal with them soon, they’ll come down here and tear us limb from limb.” She tapped the list. “Get me everything on here. Please.”
Crafty’s Tools were underneath the Fizzcrank Pumping Station, the same station that had accidentally awakened Mechazod. I tried not to think about what else might be sleeping down there.
The Overcharged Capacitor came from the airstrip’s own supplies. Easy enough.
Rocknar was the complication. Not a magnataur, as I’d expected, but an ice elemental guarding the Frozen Reach. He saw me coming. “You think to take my primal essence? Come, let us see if you are hard as stone and ice!”
He was hard. I was harder, and I took a handful of his grit from what remained.
Crafty was already pulling the components apart before I finished setting them down. “Now all we gots to do is put this together. Hold your horses, this’ll just take a second now that I’ve got my tools back!”
Tools, capacitor, and elemental grit hauled in from across the zone, and Crafty told him to hold tight while she built the thing, which the magnataur would shortly be hearing about as Hah… You’re Not So Big Now!
