“Now that we have this phylactery, I shouldn’t have any problems getting the information I need. It won’t take long for the Scourge in the Temple City to notice something’s up, however. I won’t be able to fend off a full scale attack here. Or maybe I would… but I’d rather not find out.
I want you to head down there and inflict some casualties. Hopefully they’ll be distracted long enough for these two to spill their guts… figuratively, of course. Take Lurid with you, he might be of aid.”

Lore Context
With Tanathal’s phylactery in hand, Thassarian can now force the lich to talk. But interrogating a captive takes time, and the Scourge in En’kilah will notice their lich commander has gone silent.
“It won’t take long for the Scourge in the Temple City to notice something’s up. I won’t be able to fend off a full scale attack here. Or maybe I would… but I’d rather not find out.”
Your job is simple: cause enough chaos in En’kilah that the Scourge focus on you instead of investigating their missing lich. Thassarian even loans you his ghoul companion: “Take Lurid with you, he might be of aid.”
Upon completion: “That should buy us some time. Isidorus has been cooperative, but I really needed that alone time with the lich.”
Reward Note: Death Knight’s Anguish
The Death Knight’s Anguish trinket is an excellent choice for melee and ranged physical DPS classes. It provides:
At full stacks, this grants up to 181 crit rating (31 base + 150 from stacks). The proc is frequent, making this trinket valuable for classes that rely on sustained attacks. Hunters in particular benefit from the synergy with their attack speed.

Vikstone's War JournalThassarian turned from his prisoners. “Now that we have the phylactery, I shouldn’t have problems getting the information I need. But it won’t take long for the Scourge in the Temple City to notice something’s up.” He smiled. “I won’t be able to fend off a full-scale attack here. Or maybe I would… but I’d rather not find out.”

He gestured toward En’kilah. “Head down there and inflict some casualties. Hopefully they’ll be distracted long enough for these two to spill their guts.” The smile widened. “Figuratively, of course. Take Lurid with you. He might be of aid.”
Lurid was Thassarian’s ghoul. The creature fell in step behind me, and together we descended into En’kilah.
En’kilah held ziggurats that rose from blighted ground, necromancers chanting on their steps, abominations patrolling the paths between. Crypt fiends skittered across the walls and gargoyles circled overhead.
I announced myself with a thunderclap that scattered the first cluster of ghouls, then waded in before they could regroup. My mace caved in skulls and shattered ribcages while Lurid tore at anything that got past me. An abomination lumbered close and I sidestepped its hook, drove my weapon into its knee, then crushed its skull when it dropped. A necromancer tried to raise what I’d just killed; I closed the distance before his spell finished and broke him open from shoulder to ribs.
Twenty. Maybe more. I stopped counting after the crypt fiend that nearly took my arm off before I pulverized its head.
When I returned, Thassarian nodded.
“That should buy us some time. Isidorus has been cooperative, but I really needed that time alone with the lich.”
The lich talked, and what it gave up sends the pair of them after the Words of Power that open Naxxanar.
