Kill 10 Scourge in the courtyard below the Argent Stand.

Commander Falstaav at the Argent Stand [39, 67] sends you into the courtyard below to clear 10 Scourge. Mobs respawn quickly and are already fighting Argent NPCs, so this completes fast. Pick up Parachutes for the Argent Crusade from Falstaav at the same time to knock out both quests in one trip. Completing both unlocks the Troll Patrol daily system via Pa'Troll.

Vikstone's Classic Expedition

Vikstone waded into the courtyard swinging. No disguises or scepters this time, just a warrior and Scourge that needed to be killed.

“Despite our substantial successes in the lower third of Zul’Drak, we must still face the onslaught of the Scourge. Such is the way in this frigid hell. The attacks are unrelenting, yet my men need rest. If you are willing, we could use your aid in reinforcing them. Below in the courtyard you’ll find no end to the fighting.

Dispatch the Scourge there with all the zeal you can muster, Warrior.”

Located at the Alliance outpost at 37.72, 65.92 in Zul'Drak.
Pair with Other Quests:
Complete this quest alongside "Parachutes for the Argent Crusade" for maximum efficiency, as they share overlapping objectives and zones.
Utilize NPC Soldiers:
If the waves become overwhelming, pull enemies back to the steps of the outpost. NPC Alliance soldiers will assist in the fight, making it easier to thin out groups of attackers. — **Starting NPC:** Captain Gryan Stoutmantle. Located at the Alliance outpost at 37.72, 65.92 in Zul’Drak.

Quest Giver: Commander Falstaav at The Argent Stand, Zul’Drak [39, 67]

Objective: Kill 10 Scourge in the courtyard below the Argent Stand.

Walkthrough

Head down from the Argent Stand’s upper platform into the courtyard below. Scourge mobs are constantly fighting Argent Crusade NPCs in this area.
Kill any 10 Scourge. These are regular open-world mobs, not waves. They respawn quickly and are plentiful, so this completes fast.
Return to Commander Falstaav upstairs to turn in.

Efficiency Tips

Pair with Parachutes for the Argent Crusade. Both quests are given by Commander Falstaav at the same time and are completed in the same courtyard area. Parachutes has you throwing parachutes to falling Argent soldiers while you’re already down there killing Scourge.
Completing both quests unlocks Pa’Troll from Commander Kunz, which opens the Troll Patrol daily quest chain and further Argent Stand content.

The courtyard was chaos. Ghouls and abominations pressed against exhausted Crusaders, the kind of grinding attrition that breaks lines without a single decisive blow.

My greataxe changed that. By the tenth kill, the Crusaders had found their footing again.

“Your assistance is greatly appreciated,” Falstaav said when the immediate wave broke. “Were it not for your efforts, we would have difficulty holding the unliving back from our steps.”

It’s a simple work. Honest work. After weeks of Voltarus, it felt good to just kill something.

The courtyard was holding, and Vikstone barely had time to clean his blade before the Crusade found another use for him in Siphoning the Spirits
