Walkthrough

Picking Up the Quest

• This quest is NOT from the Avatar of Freya. You pick it up directly from the Timeworn Coffer object at Makers’ Overlook [80, 56]. It sits on the top platform outside, to the right of the entrance to the golem tunnel, near a pillar.
• You need to get close enough to “discover” Makers’ Overlook on your map before the quest becomes available. If you just fly over the area, it may not appear.

Getting the Key

• Enter the building at Makers’ Overlook and kill Sholazar Guardians inside until one drops the Huge Stone Key. The drop rate is not guaranteed on every kill; some players report getting it within a few kills, while others need upward of 10+.
• Avoid the Overlook Sentry. This Level 78 Elite iron golem patrols the corridor inside the building. It has a Rune Detonation ability and roughly 58,000 HP. Most solo players should let it pass rather than engage. Watch its patrol path and pull Guardians away from its route.
• If you are also doing Powering the Waygate, head down the corridor all the way to the end (dodging the Overlook Sentry) to use Activation Switch Theta before heading back out.

Turning In

• Once you have the Huge Stone Key, return to the Timeworn Coffer outside on the platform and click it to open the chest and choose your reward.

Efficiency Tips

• Always pair with Powering the Waygate – The Maker’s Overlook. Both require you to be at the same location. Enter the building, kill Guardians for the key as you work your way to the Activation Switch at the end of the corridor, then come back out and turn in the coffer.
• This is a standalone side quest with solid gear rewards for a quick detour. It does not have a prerequisite chain, so you can grab it as soon as you arrive at Makers’ Overlook regardless of where you are in the Freya questline.
