“Now that we’ve got the raw materials, I’ve had my assistant ready the still. He’ll oversee the process, but I want you to help keep everything under control. You might be tempted to think that we just throw everything into the still and let it sit, but you’re wrong. Ingredients and heat need to be added at certain times, and the pressure regulated at others. You’ll have no more than 10 seconds to react to a situation.
Speak with “Tipsy” McManus when you’re ready to start distilling.”

Quick Facts
Walkthrough
The still apparatus is set up at Nesingwary Base Camp near Grimbooze. When you accept the quest, Grimbooze tells you to speak with his assistant, “Tipsy” McManus, to begin the distillation process.
Before talking to McManus, familiarize yourself with the five interactive objects around the still:
Optimal positioning: Stand directly in front of the Banana Bucket. This central spot lets you reach all five objects without moving your character.
When you’re ready, talk to McManus to start. He will call out items in random order (“Add some bananas!” / “Add another orange! Quickly!” / “Open the pressure valve!” / “Light the brazier!”) and you have roughly 10 seconds to click the correct object. The process runs for approximately 10 rounds.
The ingredient calls are completely random. He may call the same item multiple times in a row, skip some fruits entirely, or use all three. This is intentional and does not affect completion. You can finish without using oranges at all, or using bananas five times and no papayas. Don’t worry about what seems “wrong” for a recipe; just follow his calls.
After completing all rounds, McManus congratulates you and a barrel/cask spawns next to him. You must loot this cask to receive Thunderbrew’s Jungle Punch. This is the actual quest item. Forgetting to loot the cask is the most common reason players think the quest bugged.
Do Alongside: If you are also working on The Great Hunter’s Challenge.
Efficiency Tips
Similar Quest Comparison: This is often compared to Troll Patrol: The Alchemist’s Apprentice in Zul’Drak, where Alchemist Finklestein calls out reagents you must fetch from shelves. That version is notably harder because it requires you to physically run to different shelf locations, while Still At It keeps everything within arm’s reach of the banana bucket.
Easter Egg
Lore Context
Grimbooze’s quest text reveals his philosophy: “You might be tempted to think that we just throw everything into the still and let it sit, but you’re wrong.” Despite being stranded in a jungle with improvised tropical fruit, he insists on proper technique. The chaotic randomness of McManus’s calls (five bananas, no oranges, light the brazier three times) is a comedic contrast to this insistence on precision.
The quest item you create, Thunderbrew’s Jungle Punch, becomes central to the follow-up quest The Taste Test, where you serve samples to NPCs around Sholazar to gauge reactions. This completes the three-part brewing chain.

Vikstone's War Journal“Now that we’ve got the raw materials, I’ve had my assistant ready the still.” Grimbooze gestured toward a dwarf swaying gently beside the contraption of pipes and gauges. “He’ll oversee the process, but I want you to help keep everything under control.”
He fixed me with a serious look.

“You might be tempted to think that we just throw everything into the still and let it sit, but you’re wrong. Ingredients and heat need to be added at certain times, and the pressure regulated at others. You’ll have no more than 10 seconds to react to a situation.”
Something about the way “Tipsy” McManus smiled at me gave me pause.
“Add another orange! Quickly!”
I threw in the fruit.
“Pressure’s rising! The valve!”
I twisted it. Steam hissed.
“Light the brazier! Now!”
And so it went. Round after round, McManus barking orders while I lunged between fruit pile, pressure valve, and brazier like a warrior possessed. The still groaned. The mash bubbled. McManus reached for what he called “quality control samples.”
Finally, mercifully, the contraption quieted.
Grimbooze gave the cask a shake. “There’s something in here, but the million gold question is, can you drink it?” He grinned. “Don’t you go anywhere. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the sampling of the product, too.”
The punch was bottled and Grimbooze needed guinea pigs. Vikstone drew the short straw for delivery duty in The Taste Test
