Objective: Collect 16 Dried Gnoll Rations from the Savage Hill gnolls west of K3.

Walkthrough

Head west from K3 into the Savage Hill gnoll camps in the Snowblind Hills. Rations drop from killing gnolls, but the fastest method is looting food crates scattered around the camps.

Crates yield multiple rations per loot and are plentiful across the 3-4 camps between K3 and Gnarlhide’s camp at [30.4, 85.7]. Sweep through camps starting around [35, 83] and moving west. Kill gnolls as you encounter them for extra drops, but prioritize crates for speed.

Efficiency Tips

• Do Alongside: This is one of three quests that share the same gnoll camp area west of K3. Grab Expression of Gratitude (kill Gnarlhide at the westernmost camp) and Clean Up (salvage parts from Ricket’s Folly just south of the gnoll area) before heading out. One westward sweep completes all three.
• If the area is crowded, start at the farthest camp [32, 85] and work back toward K3. The western camps see less traffic.
• Stealth classes can skip combat entirely and focus on crate looting.

Lore Notes

K3 is experiencing an unexpected food shortage. Ricket explains that the goblin sapper squad has such high turnover (read: frequent explosive deaths) that long-term food planning was never a priority.

Now that K3 has attracted more visitors, they need supplies. Her solution? Steal back what the gnolls have been scavenging from goblin leftovers. The mutual theft between goblins and gnolls is the running theme tying together this quest, Expression of Gratitude, and Clean Up.
