Objective: Search the Bor’s Breath valley and Bor’s Fall area for any sign of the missing Frostborn Scout, then return to Glorthal.

Walkthrough
Head east from Frosthold into the Bor’s Breath valley and look for a Frostborn Scout lying on the ground. You only need to find one. He’s a green-named, friendly NPC in a prone “death” position, easy to miss if you’re flying fast. The in-game quest tracker is reportedly inaccurate for this quest, so use these player-confirmed coordinates instead:
When you interact with the scout, a scripted dialogue plays out. He’s badly wounded from a harpy ambush led by Sirana Iceshriek, and despite your offer to bring help, he dies in front of you after asking you to take down the harpy leader. This sets up the next two quests in the chain.
A harpy may be patrolling near the scout’s body, so be ready for a pull if you’re on foot.

Lore Context
Glorthal references King Stormheart with the line “the wisest and strongest leader I’ve yet seen among our people,” which lands differently once you know that Yorg Stormheart is actually Muradin Bronzebeard, an Ironforge dwarf living among the blue-skinned Frostborn. His “peachy” complexion is literally a giveaway that he’s not a native Frostborn, though the Frostborn themselves seem unbothered by it.

I found one two thirds of the way down Bor’s Fall.
He tried to get up when he saw me coming and did not manage it, and went back down against the ice with his hand clamped over his side. He had been bleeding a long while by then. There was a great deal of it around him and none of it fresh.
“I’ve come to take you back to Frosthold if you can stand.”
“I don’t think that’s going to happen, lad. I’ve lost a lot of blood… there’s no way I’m making it back.”
“I’m sorry that I didn’t get here sooner.”
“A big pack of harpies came up from the valley. A big one named Sirana led them… I didn’t have anywhere to escape. They haven’t been this aggressive for a long time… I didn’t expect it… I let my guard down. It’s my own fault.”
He had a wound through the side and he spent his breath telling me it was his own doing.
“I’ll go get some help. Hang in there.”
“It’s a little late… for that… lad.”
He coughed blood onto the snow, and I thought that was the end of it, and it was not.
“Get… that wench in charge for me.”
Then it was.
I stayed with him a while.
“When a scout doesn’t come back for this long… that’s about the expected result,” Glorthal said. “The harpies then? King Stormheart has us train hard year round… he’s turned us into amazing fighters. At times like this, I understand why it’s necessary. He’s the wisest and strongest leader I’ve yet seen among our people…”
He talked about his king for some time after that, and I let him, because a man has to put it somewhere. He did not ask the scout’s name and I had not thought to get it. That one is mine.
The scout had spent his last breath naming the harpy who did it, and Frosthold was not going to wait for the next scout to go missing, so Glorthal put Vikstone to work Stemming the Aggressors.
