“We cannot defeat the Lich King on our own. Divided we shall all fall!
I implore you to answer the call, brother. The Argent Crusade accepts all who would volunteer to aid in the war effort. Highlord Tirion Fordring himself awaits you at the Argent Vanguard! Get upon your mount and fly to the southeastern reaches of Icecrown. It is there that you will find Lord Fordring and the soldiers of the Argent Crusade.
Go now, Warrior, for judgment day comes!”

Vikstone's War JournalThe Argent Vanguard sits on the southeastern lip of Icecrown, back to the cliffs, face to the Breach. Fordring was up on the ledge at its corner with the Ashbringer across his back, catching more light than anything else under that sky.

Absalan the Pious sent me. A dwarf priest who walks the Skybreaker’s deck telling anyone in earshot that the Lich King will never fall to a world divided, that he wants us killing each other, that judgment day comes and will we be prepared. He also told me that in my heart I knew justice was the only true path.
I had heard the stories. Stripped of his title and lands and put out of the Order for defending an orc, then years in exile for it. Then Light’s Hope, where he took up the Ashbringer whole and drove the Lich King off a chapel yard.
He turned as I came up.
“My faithful knights have served me well,” he said. “It seems that their recruitment efforts have yielded a hero.”
Namarie and Lunara did not send me north for justice. Fordring stands here for the Light. I am here for a lich whose name I still will not set down.
But we both want Arthas dead.
“Where do you need me?” I asked.
Vikstone had come north carrying a private debt and offered it to a man who once threw away rank, station, and family rather than break faith with an orc, and the first thing Tirion asked of him set those two things directly against each other in Honor Above All Else.
